Skating
Anchorage:
Classes begin September 10 & 12, 2026, from 6–8 PM; six-week Thursday or Saturday sessions are available for Snowplow Sam through Adult Freeskate, starting at $90 plus a $20 LTS-USA membership fee, and registration opens via akicelessons@gmail.com
Eagle River:
Classes start the week of September 14, 2026 As The Harry J. McDonald Memorial Center offers Learn to Skate classes for tots, youth, and adults, from first-time beginners through advanced Freestyle levels. Their five-week sessions focus on building fundamental skating skills, with classes available for ages 3 and up, including Tot Learn to Skate, Youth and Adult Learn to Skate, and Freestyle programs.
